Definition of characteristics of the lift's strength for movement of agricultural purposes

A calculation of the structural elements of the elevator for strength is proposed, which allows the selection of the necessary dimensions of structural elements, the determination of the critical compressive strength, the stresses arising in the structural elements, the maximum bending moments in order to use the results for further research on the design and functionality of the elevators for moving loads . Literary sources provide a description of the designs of lifting equipment, capabilities and scope. However, there is no calculation of the strength characteristics of the lifts, in particular, the elevator for moving agricultural goods. A calculation of the structural elements of the elevator for strength is proposed, which allows the selection of the necessary dimensions of structural elements, the determination of the critical compressive strength, the stresses arising in the structural elements, the maximum bending moments in order to use the results for further research on the design and functionality of the elevators for moving loads . Literary sources provide a description of the designs of lifting equipment, capabilities and scope. However, there is no calculation of the strength characteristics of the lifts, in particular, the elevator for moving agricultural goods. The considered elevator for moving agricultural goods has its own peculiarity, namely that the scissor-type lifting mechanism consists of articulated levers that receive tensile or compressive forces. In addition, the lift has a base, a lifting platform and a lifting drive, including power hydraulic cylinders. Moreover, all the components of the lift have a certain function. The design of the lift as a whole, including hydraulic cylinders, is a complex but functionally determined spatial structure, the geometry of which is modified by changing the length of the hydraulic cylinders, and the articulated joints and movable rollers provide the necessary mobility of the system as a whole. The study proposed the calculation of the strength characteristics of the lifts, in particular, the elevator for moving agricultural goods, which is based on the formulas for determining the critical force and normal and shear stresses. Determination of the strength characteristics of the lift for moving goods is carried out according to the formulas of resistance of materials. The article reveals the possibility of using the proposed calculation to determine the strength characteristics on the example of a lift for moving agricultural goods. Using the proposed calculation shows the possibility of determining the strength characteristics of the hoists and makes it possible to select the optimal geometric parameters for design solutions.
