The defining and the defined in the titles of handwritten books of moral and ethic content (XI - XIX centuries)

The semantic groups of nouns and adjectives in the titles of handwritten books of moral and ethic content are studied. The titles often consist of the defining and the defined and have their own structural and semantic features. The peculiar feature of a "special title" of a handwritten book is the definition which characterizes the book by its most vivid feature.
