The definition and scope of corporate social responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) appears to be one of the most discussed issues of modern business ethics. Regardless of the relevance of this concept, there is no overall agreement in defining CSR. This paper studies the evolution of the CSR concept and analyzes its current definitions. The analysis is used to identify the key components of the concept of CSR as a long-term business strategy.
