Determination of polycrystals effective elastic properties by the method of computing experiment

The method of polycrystals effective elastic properties determining built on a series of 6 computer experiments is considered. The resulting estimates of polycrystal elastic properties are compared with Voigt, Race and Hill's estimates, as well as the results of field experiments. The proposed methodology is used to estimate the effective elastic properties of polycrystals in the presence of axial texture.
