The article deals with the monitoring of vocational guidances of applicants defining the key motives of their self-determination. The method of questioning reveals the basic factors influencing applicants' choice of a higher educational institution. Besides, the article considers the problems of implementation of the opportunities to get demanded quality education taking into account the professional identity of applicants.
