Determination of the first type stress-intensity factor for two collinear cracks by the boundary element method

The article is devoted to the development of a mathematical model for describing the process of joint opening of two linear collinear cracks. A calculation algorithm is proposed that makes it possible to determine the stress intensity factor by the boundary element method. The purpose of this article is to develop an algorithm for numerical calculation of the stress intensity factor (hereinafter SIF) of the first type for two collinear cracks using the boundary element method. The results obtained in the framework of this article can be applied in solving problems of fracture mechanics and related scientific fields.
