Determination of the efficiency factor of the mirror surface of heliostats in a solar tower power plant

Analyzing the geographical location and natural and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan, we come to the conclusion that solar energy has the highest priority among all renewable sources. In the country, sunny days are more than 270-320 days a year, which shows the possibility of using solar energy almost all year round. In this regard, the development and creation of large-scale solar technologies are needed today, the use of solar energy in industries and agriculture is undoubtedly relevant.The work comprehensively considers the created model of a tower-type solar power plant, with the help of mathematical modeling of the modes of its optical system in the natural and climatic conditions of Turkmenistan, the coefficient of efficiency of using the mirror surface of the installation and the distribution of the level of instantaneous local values are determined. The figures clearly demonstrate that the distribution is constantly changing depending on the position of the sun in the sky.
