Determining the number of alternative routes to perform a network exchange task with a given probability

Бесплатный доступ

An approach to determining the minimum required number of alternative network routes for guaranteed fulfillment of the task of network exchange in information and computing networks is considered with the following limitation: the failed route is not restored and is not considered for further operation. The approach provides for the construction of network routes in public networks using routing from the source. The approach is based on the analysis of the known (identified) laws of time-to-failure distribution for each of the alternative routes and the formulation of a conclusion about the required number of routes
