Overdue debts in the retail crediting: critical level definition

The author examines the overdue debt in the market of retail crediting for individuals based on the bad debts data in major Russian banks. The article compares the data with corresponding figures in the U.S. and South Korea at the time of financial crisis, caused by the non-payment of credit. The assessment argues the overdue debts are not critical in the Russian banks. The research offers policy to reduce the rate of overdue debts.
