The main performance indicators of the compressor stage are the degree of boost boost, mass air flow rate and rotor shaft speed. To determine the efficiency of the turbocharger, tests are carried out, which in turn are divided into research and factory.It is advisable to conduct research tests on non-powered stands, since in this case there is no need to use ICE as a drive. Moreover, in the process of testing it is necessary to accurately maintain the specified mode. All readings are taken at steady state operation of the turbocharger.This article discusses a non-motorized research test method. Three independent methods are used to measure the mass air flow rate of the compressor stage of the TKR 7S-6 turbocompressor, using a constricting device (diaphragm), a mass air flow sensor and a digital hot-wire anemometer.
