Determination of the translation model within the framework of the cognitive approach

This work is devoted to the study of the cognitive aspect of translation. The goal is to define the specificity of the translation process and the model of translation within the cognitive approach by examining the relationship between language and consciousness, the study of language as a cognitive mechanism, and cognitive processes in humans. In this study, various theoretical aspects on this topic are analyzed using a comprehensive approach. The article analyzes the concepts of the essence of the cognitive approach in linguistics and the cognitive model of translation. The main focus of the researchers concentrates on the semantic, mental correspondence between the original text and its translation, on the analysis of the translator's creative activity, not the details of the translation technique. From this perspective attempts to clear up the manner in which human identifies information about reality and organizes it to make decisions.
