Determination of acute toxicity of a silage feed additive of microbiological origin

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the results of studying the parameters of the "acute" toxicity of a silage feed additive, including the association of microorganisms Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus buchneri, Bacillus subtilis. The studies were conducted on non-linear white rats. In an experiment on laboratory rats, it was found that the feed additive in the studied doses (with total titers of microorganisms 3*106, 1*109 and 1*1010 CFU/ml) does not cause symptoms of intoxication and death in animals. There were no significant differences in the growth rate of experimental rats. It can be concluded that the tested silage feed additive is safe and has no signs of toxicity.
