Determination of acute toxicity of liquid vitamin and mineral feed additive Active Mix VMG - 500 in rats

The article presents the results of determining the acute toxicity of the liquid vitamin and mineral feed additive Active Mix VMG- 500 when administered intragastrically to laboratory animals (rats). The general condition was assessed. The hematological parameters of the studied animals were studied. It was not possible to establish the exact LD50 values for laboratory rats, due to the absence of animal deaths. The LD50 value for experimental rats exceeded 5000 mg/ kg, which gives grounds, in accordance with the standards of GOST 12.1.007-76, to attribute the liquid vitamin and mineral feed additive Active Mix VMG- 500 to the 4th hazard class - low-hazard substances.
