Features of the soil deep tillage the in the southern regions of Russia in the arid climate conditions is revealed. The analysis of shortcomings of existing techniques is carried out. New technique of determination of deep-rippers parameters is worked out. This deep-ripper realizes high-quality tillage at the smallest expenses of energy.
