Determination of methods for conducting a discursive analysis of photo commentaries on the basis of classifications of the concepts "discourse" and "discourse analysis "

This article describes the basic concepts and definitions of the terms "discourse" and "discourse analysis", analyzes the different approaches to the definition of these concepts. For each type, a comparison of the directions of discourse research is given. In conclusion, the main stages of discourse analysis of such complex and little-studied phenomenon as photo commentaries are considered. This method involves the interaction of visual and verbal means of influence.
