In an era of increasing globalization and business diversification, companies face the challenge of aligning internal goals. This article explores the intricacies of goal setting in today's diversified companies, highlighting the need to align and synchronize different departmental goals, from efficiency to sales. Based on real examples of well-known global conglomerates, including well-known Russian companies, the author offers an explanation of how these companies approach the issue of reconciling opposing goals. In addition, the author examines the processes of strategic planning, the advantages and problems of both top-down and bottom-up approaches. The analysis highlights the importance of adaptability, communication and a deep understanding of market and regional nuances.
