Defining the professional standard of project manager within the information and communication activities (based on the proceedings of the conference on Project management: development prospects, Sochi, August 2018)

The development of knowledge-intensive industries, the introduction of the advanced technology into production, the emergence of previously unknown careers lead to a fundamental change in both the labor market as a whole and the skills of employees in particular. In this regard, the introduction of a new system of professional standards is pivotal to the professional and industrial development. Therefore, nowadays, it is timely and relevant to update the new standards in order to make them the most accurate, complete and easy to work. The Conference on Project Management: Development Prospects was held in Sochi in August 2018 to discuss the Professional Standard of Project Manager. This event made it possible to clarify a number of provisions of legislative instruments, thereby increasing the loyalty of the target audience and the general public towards project management.
