In the contact monitoring method of diameter of monocrystalline ingot pulled from melt by Czochralski method offered by the author, size of germanium melt level variation makes 1-2 мm which is enough for monitoring system functioning when measuring crystal diameter and for provision of stable temperature conditions for growth on solidifying interface of crystal.
