Expert assessments call a group of methods used to evaluate complex systems at a qualitative level. The term "expert" is derived from lat. Expert, meaning "experienced." When using expert assessments, it is usually assumed that the opinion of an expert group is more reliable than that of an individual expert. Some theoretical studies note that this assumption is not obvious, but at the same time it is argued that if certain requirements are met, in most cases group evaluations are more reliable than individual ones. Therefore, it is important when organizing expert surveys to introduce certain rules and use appropriate methods for obtaining and processing expert assessments.
