The determination of the viability and safety of biological properties of strains of the glanders agent during long-term storage

The main purpose of microorganismcollections is to preserve the biological properties of pathogens strains during long-term storage. One of the long-term storage ways of microorganisms is lyophilization. Strains 5584 and Muksusarglanders agent weretested for the viability.The suspensionof lyophilized cultures from ampoules for meat-peptone glycerin agar and meat-peptone glycerin broth was sown. The grown cultures were checked according totinctorial-morphological, biochemical and agglutinable properties. After the 7-year storage or more the strains are viable, stable according biological properties.
