Optimal radar structure for UAV detection

The paper discusses various organizational structures of radar systems (RLS) and derives the optimal structure for detecting small UAVs. It analyzes active, passive, and semi-active types of radar, their features, and application conditions. Attention is given to the choice of frequency range and the impact of meteorological conditions on the effectiveness of RLS. To improve detection accuracy and reliability, the use of a combined type of RLS that integrates various radar methods is proposed.
