A sociological study of the students of the FGBOU VO "Orе State University named after I. S. Turgenev" was carried out to determine the level of aggression against others, which most optimally regulates educational activity. The sampling population was 494 people of both sexes aged 19 to 21 years. The method that was used in our work is the testing of subjects according to the KET test, proposed by Yu. M. Orlov. We processed the received data in the statistical analysis package of the Microsoft Excel 2003 program and in the Statistics 6.0 program. The optimal level of the indicator "Aggression against others", established by the KET test, takes values from 1.08 to 4.3 - this level of human activity is necessary for the active activity of an individual and the realization of his needs. To calculate the level of aggression required for successful educational activity, the level of aggression was correlated with the indicators of the need for domination and the need for achievements. The maximum values of these indicators correspond to the level of aggression equal to 2.47, which is optimal for students' learning activity.
Aggression against others, optimal level of aggression, negative emotions, кet test, the need for dominance, need for achievements, indicators of descriptive statistics, regression statistics, the realization of the need
