Бесплатный доступ

The article examines the theoretical, economic, and institutional aspects of containerization in the logistics flows of agricultural products in the Kaliningrad region. As an exclave region, Kaliningrad faces unique logistical challenges, including limited land transit, instability of external routes, and high costs of multimodal transportation. The author emphasizes the potential of transitioning to container logistics as a key tool for reducing costs, improving product preservation, and expanding the export potential of the region’s agro-industrial complex. The study analyzes the regulatory framework, current routes, and economic indicators of containerization efficiency. Special attention is given to the prospects of accessing northern territories of the Russian Federation within the framework of the “Northern Supply” program and the use of the Northern Sea Route. Based on the Total Cost of Movement methodology and SWOT analysis, practical recommendations are proposed for the development of specialized infrastructure, digitalization, and support for containerized transportation in the region’s agricultural logistics.
