Optimization of processes in implementation of automated control systems of ERP class

The article identifies the need to optimize business processes (BP) before implementing ERP-systems. The advantages and problems of preliminary BP optimization are revealed. The stages of typical BP optimization are singled out. The possibilities of the FAST methodology, benchmarking and reengineering of the BP are shown. It is shown that before the introduction of automated process control it is necessary to optimize them based on the best world practices, taking into account the company's features.
