Optimization of container terminal placement, taking into account factors of internal and external economic environment

The article deals with the problem of non-compliance of the processing capacity of container terminals with the required volumes of transportation. The scientific novelty of the research is the development of a method for optimizing the placement of a container terminal. As a result, five stages of the container terminal placement optimization methodology are identified and characterized.
