Optimisation of light-brown soil processing methods and min-eral fertilizers treatment for sunflower hybrids and varieties in arid zone of Stavropol region

In 2000-2003 in three-factor field trial it was determined, that in arid conditions on light-brown soils the most efficient use of moisture, elements of feeding and forming of the maximum of productivity of sunflower varie-ties and hybrids can be obtained by the application of N20P30 during the sowing process, regardless of the method of soil processing. In the process of the boardless ploughing the positive action of fertilizers was more visible and the highest yields of seeds and oil were obtained.
