Optimization of traffic light control using the program of traffic flow modeling

The research work is directed to the solving for optimum traffic light parameters under the given car flow intensity. The method of solving an optimal cycle of traffic lights, is based on the author's developed the compute program. The program uses a microscopic simulation, applying a simplified version of the Intelligent Driver Model (IDM). The flow of cars is distributed under the exponential law.
