The efficiency of laboratories conducting quantitative analysis of metal content in polymetallic ores at mining sites depends on a combination of modern technologies, skilled personnel, and effective management of chemical analysis processes. The article presents the optimization of conditions for the quantitative determination of lead and zinc in solid mineral-based substances using atomic absorption and atomic emission methods. Comparative results are provided for the quantitative analysis of these metals in polymetallic ores from the Ozernoe deposit, utilizing different sample preparation systems. For oxidized ores, microwave-assisted sample preparation yielded the highest element recovery, as confirmed by improved chemical analysis results. In the analysis of sulfide ore samples, thermal heating methods demonstrated higher efficiency. Based on the findings, recommendations were developed for the analytical protocol used in the geological sample analysis of the Ozernoe deposit.
