The article introduces the operational-tactical-strategic context of wood supply in logging companies. In this context, the transition to cut-to-length means that multiple assortments may be transformed at multiple locations in the supply chain for numerous destinations. Harvesting-forwarding and transportation are the key activities in this context. This article gives an overview of the mathematical models implementing in decision support systems (DSS) for solving these tasks. A optimization model for wood supply transport planning was developed as a result of the work. Model was implemented in a new decision support system.
