Experience content analysis of suicide comments on the Internet in persons with various degrees of suicidal activity

The publication presents the results of a study of psychological characteristics of suicide person and persons actively voicing suicidal thoughts on Internet pages of the social network "Vkontakte". It is described the modern aspects of the situation with a suicidal activity of young people, users of the capabilities of information technology and communication on the Internet. In article we substantiated proposal of using the method of content analysis, including computer options for the study of the statements placed on the user’s accounts pages, on which there is an active discussion on the topic of suicide. Article deals with methodical substantiation of Internet resources study, we presents an original algorithm of differentiation participants of social networks with different types of suicidal activity. It is described the results of content analysis of suicidal statements for which there is clear evidence that they committed later suicide, and materials similar study of statements other active participants in this segment of the social network, make judgments with suicidal nature, but have not committed suicide at the time of the study. There are significant differences in the content of the relationship to death and ideas about it, ideas about the immediate environment of such persons, and the semantic field as a whole. On concrete examples it is founded the self-descriptiveness of the method of content analysis in its traditional and computerized form to study the semantics of statements of persons with different types of suicidal activity and characteristics of their personality-semantic sphere.
