The topic of the article is the research of experience of organizing the event tourism of the Far East region which considers being a significant part of cultural tourism oriented to the visit of the destination in particular time what is often connected with an event. The subject of the article is the event tourism, a unique and perspective type of tourism, creative and inexhaustible in content. The purpose of the study is to assess the development prospects of event tourism in the Far East. Among the tasks determined the creation, structure, internal logic of the article, the authors consider that it’s necessary to highlight the following: to study the experience of organizing events, their appropriate and operational promotion in the Far East. Modern tourists are not satisfied with the triad of rest: "sea-sun-beach"; it’s replaced by another - "national traditions-landscape-event". They want not only to see the sights, but also to participate in something. In the near future, the number of participants of event tours will exceed the number of participants of excursion tours. But the condition for its development is sufficient financial and information support. At the same time, stable demand, the flow of tourists can be obtained only in a few years. The dynamic development of event tourism in the Far East has a positive impact on the development of the host region. This involves the creation of comfortable accommodation facilities, the organization of sports, tourist, sightseeing, entertainment complexes, and the development of transport infrastructure in the region. During the activity of event tourism there is a revival of local cultural traditions, customs, and development of folk art. The proposed study confirms the actively growing potential, relevance of event tourism, gives representatives of the tourism industry tools to optimize relations with the tourist audience.
