Traumatic dislocations of the shoulder are one of the most common injuries and occupy the first place among all dislocations of the limbs. Stabilization of the shoulder joint in chronic instability is usually performed surgically. However, the effectiveness of the treatment result as a whole largely depends not only on the adequacy of surgical intervention, but also on the nature, volume and timeliness of rehabilitation measures. Aim: determine the complex of measures necessary in the postoperative period after various methods to stabilize the shoulder joint, which will improve the results of treatment and improve the quality of life of these patients.Materials and methods: the study includes postoperative follow-up of 70 patients with chronic instability of the shoulder joint, who were treated at the hospital. The scientific novelty lies in determining the optimal complex of rehabilitation measures, assessing the effectiveness of using shock wave therapy and introducing autologous platelet-rich plasma at various stages of restoration of the function of the upper limb. Results: the study revealed a statistically significant improvement in the function of the shoulder joint in the form of the most complete restoration of range of motion and a decrease in the severity of pain in the group where postoperative rehabilitation was carried out using shock wave therapy and the use of autologous platelet-rich plasma.
