International day celebration in the Kuban region in the 1920-s

The article is concerned with Kuban people’s celebration of one of the main national holidays - the International Day. Reference to the regional data is determined by the fact that the celebration culture of the early Soviet period varied according to the local conditions. The author discusses some aspects of the May Day commemoration, such as: solemn ceremony activities, negative moments of the holiday, and influence of the Easter traditions.
