The experience of approximation to the semiotic dimension of metaphysics of A. Tarkovsky's “Solaris” film

The subject of the research is the means of cinema language of the film “Solaris”. The purpose of the study: to show how, by analyzing the means of cinema language, one can find an unobvious author's message. Tasks: to identify the relationship between the philosophical and semiotic approach; to characterize the peculiarity of the semiotic approach to the analysis of the film; to give a variant of the semiotic analysis of the main means of cinema language of the film “Solaris”. The author's message in the Solaris film is the idea of eternity and beauty of earthly values (Earth, home, family, love), this is the idea of sin and its atonement, this is the idea of a person's responsibility to the unknown, with whom he comes into contact, to relatives and himself by myself. The use of a semiotic approach in the analysis of auteur films is an opportunity, in a new way, in the language of cinema, to actualize anthropological issues that connect the viewer not only with the author's message, but also with his own spiritual reality.
