Rescue angioplasty and standard therapy in patients having acute myocardial infarction with ST-segment elevation after non-effective thrombolytic therapy were compared. It is concluded that rescue angioplasty in patients having acute myocardial infarction with STsegment elevation allows to decrease hospital mortality and improve clinical course of the disease.
