The results of practical application of independent internal university control of students’ knowledge and skills testing in various academic disciplines realized in basic educational programs of higher education are considered. The features of network program "Tests" that is integrated into the user program Lotus Notes are noticed. The results of independent internal university testing are summarized, marked the positives and gaps, recommendations for improvement of this activity are made.
