Experience in the implementation of patriotic upbringing in the 1920s-1930s: on the materials of the Buryat-Mongolian ASSR

The article is devoted to the issue of the implementation of the patriotic education of citizens during the cultural revolution of the 1920s-1930s. Soviet society was at the stage of formation of a consolidating state idea and civic consciousness. Buryat-Mongolia, being a bordering national republic, also implemented projects of cultural modernization. The principles in the matter of political, moral and public education of society were fully embodied in the republic. Public organizations of children and youth, mass media, cinematography and other spheres of culture were used as the main tools.
