The article looks into the challenges of social sciences and humanities development at the university from three points of view: educational, academic, project. Research task is to answer the question of which technological approaches (organizational instruments) can ensure intensity growth and quality development in teaching social sciences and humanities at a technical university for which they are not "profile" ones.
