Experience of identifying exomorphodynamic levels in the Oka plateau (the Eastern Sayan)

The article deals with the issues of identifying exomorphodynamic levels on the territory of Oka Plateau (the Eastern Sayan). We have considered the role of geological-geomorphological and landscape-climatic factors determining the manifestation of vertical differentiation of exogenous relief formation processes in the studied area and the specifics of their conduct within a certain range of heights. As a result of the study, four exomorphodynamic levels had been identified on the plateau - the lower basin, the lower valley, middle and apical. We have described relief complexes for each of them and the structure of modern exogenous relief formation, where the leading and accompanying processes have been identified. For the two lower levels fluvial and slope processes are the leading ones. Cryogenic processes also play a significant role. Middle and apical levels are characterized by the undisputed dominance of cryogenic-slope and cryogenic processes, the influence of fluvial morphogenesis is significantly reduced.
