In the course of research, the parameters for the experimental section of the insectarium for breeding the black soldier fly, at all stages of the life cycle from egg to imago, are substantiated. The section design is proposed, the partitions internal device is modeled, providing the division of space into two parts: for the fly's flight and metamorphosis. The space for flight is located on top, for metamorphosis – on the bottom. Between the two sections, a slit is made for the imago emergence. Inside each section, a white mesh is placed at a distance of 10-15 mm from the walls and ceiling, where the imagoes will be placed. The mesh is attached to the floor without any gaps to prevent insects from laying eggs in these crevices. A clip-on holder is installed to secure the mesh inside the insectarium. A frame design is proposed for the experimental section, which includes three shelves. The upper shelf is designed for fattening newly hatched larvae, and the lower two shelves are designed for fattening larger larvae that have been transferred to more boxes. The insectarium is located at a height of 900 mm from the floor on a frame. The room must be equipped with artificial lighting. The temperature inside the room must be between 18 and 28 degrees Celsius, and the air intake for the insectarium's ventilation system must be taken from a nearby room or basement to prevent sudden fluctuations in the temperature of the intake air. The insectarium's section must be maintained at a specific temperature, and the air in the humidity zones must be conditioned to ensure that the air in the working areas is not contaminated.
