The influence of the basic theoretical and methodological settings, originating from the doctrine of the organicism. on the development of modern scientific concepts on self-organized systems (cybernetics and synergetics), which are based on a systematic approach, is analyzed in this article. It is proved that the initial settings of the organicism determinate the organic outlook and are based on the multidiscipline concepts of modern science. The organic outlook is based on the pattern of synergistic integrity and is viewed as a universal way of cognition allowing a systematic analysis of processes of reality structure through the idea of a synergistic integrity of perceived objects. It is also argued that this way of vision has significant prospects in overcoming the discreteness of modern scientific cognition. The author believes that the organic outlook is a kind of generator of ideas, concepts and theories which synthesizes disparate parts of scientific knowledge into a single system. Moreover, it greatly contributes to the creation of a holistic picture of the world which brings humanity closer to the full cognition of the universal patterns of life.
