This article is devoted to consideration of features of the organization and carrying out market researches of consumer preferences at trade enterprises. In article the main objectives and the directions of a research of preferences of consumers are considered. The main stages of carrying out a research including identification of a problem and research objectives, development and implementation of the plan and also representation of the received results are studied. The main methods of qualitative and quantitative researches of consumer preferences have found reflection in article.
