In this article we consider one of the approaches to the implementation of the monitoring of the educational-cognitive activity of the students – future teachers of mathematics in the process of learning profile disciplines. We describe the functional and structural model of the monitoring and propose the estimating tools that allow implementing the continuous monitoring of professional competences of future teachers of mathematics in the process of their educational and cognitive activity in the university
