Organization of law enforcement activities using decision support information systems: problems and prospects

In article focuses on the fact that the implementation of effective law enforcement activities is impossible without the elaboration and adoption of effective decisions in this area. The possibilities of improving the effectiveness of law enforcement activities with the help of the latest information technologies are being investigated. The possibility of applying the theory of decision-making and artificial intelligence technologies for the organization and activities of law enforcement agencies is analyzed, problematic aspects of these technologies are highlighted and ways to solve them are proposed. In article а systematic study of law enforcement activity based on objective patterns of its organization, functioning and management was carried out, as a result of which, potential opportunities for improving the activities of law enforcement agencies with the help of intelligent information systems for decision support were identified.
