Organization of production of domestic honeycomb fillers for aircraft based on the synthesis of LP, QRM, AM concepts

The article is devoted to the urgent problem of creating production facilities for critical components for the Russian aircraft industry. The urgent task for the domestic aircraft industry is to organize the production of new products of appropriate quality in the shortest possible period. The purpose of the article is to select and scientifi cally substantiate the organizational and technical solution for the development and organization of production of high-tech products - honeycomb cores for aircraft. The main research methods are structuring production factors, formalizing the sequence of production operations, describing the relationships between system objects. The mathematical description of the duration of the production cycle is based on the methodology for determining the critical path. The article defi nes the stages of the process of organizing the production of honeycomb cores taking into account the level of science intensity of the enterprise, the degree of product development and the readiness of technical documentation. A comparative analysis of the concepts of organizing the production of LP, QRM and AM is carried out in order to use their principles and tools to solve production problems: increasing organizational fl exibility, reducing losses and time of the production cycle. A conceptual model of honeycomb core production organization has been developed based on the synthesis of methods and tools of active, fast-response and lean production with setting priorities for approaches by stages of the production life cycle. A sequence of works on optimization of the critical path of the honeycomb core production cycle, consisting of ten sequential procedures, is proposed, where the key tools for reducing the duration of production procedures from the standpoint of system dynamics are the methods of fast-response and lean production POLCA, creation of a value stream map, standardization of processes, 5S as a reorganization of storage schemes for stocks, components and tools. The result of the proposed solutions is a reduction in the duration of the production cycle by 28.5%. The research materials can be used in the development and implementation of import substitution programs for production, development of new products and organization of the production process, optimization of the duration of the production cycle, implementation of tools of the concepts of LP, QRM, AM production organization.
