Organisation of self-study work on graphical technique among bachelor degree students specialising in engineering

The article examines the specifics of teaching engineering graphics to bachelor degree students caused by the transition of the system of engineering education to the Federal State Educational Standard of the 3rd generation. The paper gives a thorough account of patterns of education and types of students’ self-study work including IT applications enabling to improve the graphic training of bachelors in a technical university modeled after Kalashnikov State Technical University. Analysing the discipline “Descriptive geometry and engineering graphics” the author proves the necessity for using interactive methods of teaching used by the Chair of Engineering Graphics and Technology of Advertising which allow students to better adjust to the conditions of a technical university.
