Organization of social protection of low-income citizens through the activation of personal resources (based on the example of a social contract)

The article examines the features of the organization of social protection of low-income citizens and gives characteristics of low-income categories of the population. The social protection system provides targeted support to low-income segments of the population. The state focuses on the subsistence level, guaranteeing various categories of the population a minimum total income. In order to provide not just a living wage or one-time assistance, but to create a source of financial well-being, the state implements social contracts with low-income citizens. The implementation of the social contract will make it possible to activate the personal potential of a person or family and direct it to improve their financial situation. Social work specialists should be aware of this form of social protection and actively encourage citizens to use it.
