The article deals with the organizational and pedagogical support of the activities of educators in institutions for orphans and children left without parental care. The authors make an emphasis on the educator as the subject of the process of modernization of institutional education and examine the experience of an orphan home in the organization of the pedagogical support of teachers, activities. Besides, the article describes the structure of the organizational and pedagogical support of the teacher,s professional activity in an orphan home and the mechanism of its implementation.
