Organizational aspects affecting the efficiency of the duty units of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

Introduction: the article analyzes the activities of the duty units of the internal affairs bodies. Noting the continuous process of improving the practical activities of the duty service, attention is focused on individual problems of its organization. Materials and Methods: the materials of the study were the norms of Russian legislation regulating the activities of duty units in the Department of Internal Affairs; scientific publications on the topic under study. The methodological basis was made up of general scientific methods (dialectical, system analysis) and special scientific methods (formal legal, logical, interpretation of law, etc.) of research. Results: the author identifies the currently relevant problematic aspects in the organization of the work of the duty units of the Department of Internal Affairs, related to the large number of regulatory legal acts used in the activities of the duty units, the effectiveness of the management of the forces and means of the Department of Internal Affairs, a significant amount of workload, staffing issues. Discussion and Conclusions: revealing the identified problems in the work of the duty service, the importance of their resolution is noted, measures are proposed to improve the organization of the activities of the duty units. The author is convinced that only an integrated approach will improve the efficiency of their activities.
