The system of crime prevention in correctional institutions comprises the following areas: the revelation of persons, intending to acquire prohibited articles, including drugs; the detection of uncontrolled channels of sending and receiving correspondence, as well as the driving of employees and other persons to fulfill these plans; the organization of educational work with the persons, arriving for work in a correctional institution; cultivating qualities of professional conviction and devotion to the interests of the service; organization of training for the persons recruited, assigning tutors for them out of experienced employees, wide publicity of the facts of exposure of employees in the delivery of prohibited articles to the convicted, imposing on them disciplinary, administrative, criminal and legal measures of impact; the revelation of persons more prone to professional regress, inclined to betray the interests of the service, whose behavior has a risk to illegal relations with prisoners, and working out optimal organizational, educational and other measures on this basis.
